About Us

Our website, lights4less, is owned and run by Shades & Shadows Internet. Our retail business was established in 1995, so we are well established and stable and will be here in the future. Enjoy your visit and come back soon!

Payment

I'm afraid we accept cards only. This is to avoid long clearance times with cheques. All prices include VAT. Please request a VAT invoice if you require one.

Shipping

Shipping rates are as follows.

UK mainland Excluding the Scottish Highlands          £5.99 flat.

Scottish Highlands                                                       £10 flat.

ALL Isles and Northern Ireland                                  £29 flat.

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee to cover postage costs, and a packing fee to cover our costs of materials and labour.

Once your order has been processed your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please allow upto 14 days (max) for delivery though most orders will arrive much sooner, some within a couple of days.

Terms

We pride ourselves on our customer service. In the rare event that you have a problem with your purchase please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

By law, all lighting that requires wiring to your electricity supply should be done so by a fully qualified and certified electrician.

We cannot be held liable for any problems resulting in either the wiring of the product or the damaging of the product caused by lack of qualified installation.

We recommend that all bathroom lighting is purchased as advised by your electrician. There are very strict guidelines on bathroom Zones and IP ratings, so you must consult a fully qualified and certified electrician prior to your purchase. We cannot be held responsible for a wrongly fitted bathroom light as we give the IP rating of all of our bathroom products in the item descriptions. Your electrician should tell you what IP rating you need for the location. As mentioned above, the product must also be fitted by a fully certified electrician.

We warrantee and represent that our goods are as described. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of your receipt of the product. A full refund will be issued to your payment source within 14 days.
